City of Newark Climate Action Plan:
Adopted in 2010, the Climate Action Plan (CAP) assess the City’s current carbon emissions and suggests short term, medium term and long term reduction goals.

City of Newark Dumbarton Transit-Oriented Development (TOD):
The Dumbarton TOD is a proposed new neighborhood located next to the proposed commuter rail station at the intersection of Willow Street and Enterprise Blvd. The project will be mixed-use; incorporating residential and retail uses.

City of Newark Area 3 and 4 Specific Plan:
The Area 3 and 4 Specific Plan covers approximately 856 acres of land in the southwestern portion of Newark. These areas are bounded by Mowry Ave. to the north, Cherry St. to the east and Stevenson Blvd. to the south. There is a development agreement for these areas that include residential, recreational open space and public institutional uses.
